GAME OVER – Sri Lanka
Directed by Gamini Wijewardana
In a complex city, a person living in a boarding room and preparing to go to work begins the day in solitude. However, before long, he is confronted through telephone calls with numerous problems, questions, challenges, conversations, and responsibilities. These conversations bring assignments, obligations, complaints, accusations, orders, and even affectionate requests, leaving him feeling helpless and mentally distressed.

As a result, he hurriedly gets ready with a confused mind while facing endless mental and physical pressures. The play portrays how these overwhelming stresses gradually push him toward psychological imbalance and near madness. Finally, by letting go of everything and freeing himself from those burdens, he finds a path toward a life of freedom and peace. This complex psychological journey forms the central theme of the play.
